Earth and star
I open my heart to receive your touch.
I open the depths of my nature in order that it may be healed.
I stretch forth my awareness to receive guidance and I thank earth for the support she gives.
I reach beyond to touch the star of my soul, even as I stand upon the earth.
Wishing now to connect earth and star, I place my hand upon my heart, reaching into both worlds, holding an awareness of earth within the dimension of breath and spirit – the life-force that gave us birth; the beating heart of earth alongside energy of heavenly essence.
I feel my being now as a vast expanse – as wide plains beneath an endless, star-filled sky – an ocean without boundaries moving toward a distant shore.
I am the earth. I am the star. I am at peace with the life I have been given – my greatest gift, my greatest test.
May I hold this life as a most precious gift in every way. May it be held in care. May I serve it in the ways it deserves. May I respect this life in me and everyone around me.
